Many adults cannot have happy relationships without violence due to their own experience as children, i.e. sexually (Prone to Violence by Erin Pizzey).

Child abuse and porn have been in the news again over the last year. The vast majority of abusers admit to viewing porn before sexually abusing kids (Citizens For Decency Through Law/Charles Keating). Why does it go on so long before being reported? Please do the right thing upon first-hand knowledge of child abuse and report it whether you are the parent, relative, friend or neighbor. These are the people that do most of the abusing not strangers. From personal experience I can tell you that child abuse affects one's adult life also.
